Bighit Entertainment, is a South Korean record label founded in 2005 by music producer and former JYP composer Bang Shi-Hyuk also known as "Hitman Bang".
In May 2015, Signal Entertainment Group, a KOSDAQ-listed company specializing in artist management and television production, acquired Big Hit through a 60 billion dollar convertible bond. Signal also owns Better Ent, the agency founded by actor Song Seungheon, as well as another rexord label, Jungle Entertainment.

According to the Hyundai Research Institue (HRI) Big Hit Entertainment, the agency behind is worth over $1 billion in corporate value. The Korea Herald reported the South Korean entertainment company is thought to be valued at between 1.28 trillion won ($1.08 billion) and 2.28 trillion won ($2.07 billion). Big Hit Entertainment has now earned the designation"unicorn company," applied to privately held startups valued over $1 billion, because of how rare it is that a privately held startup reaches such high valuation.

If Big Hit Entertainment lands on the higher end of HRI's estimate, the Seoul-based agency would rank higher than the original "Big 3" K-pop agencies: SM Entertainmen, JYP and YG.

There's a lot of artists and groups under BigHit company ( 2AM, GLAM etc..) but the two most-known of them are BTS (방탄소년단) and Tomorrow X Together.
